Job Description
We are seeking experienced Autobody Paint & Body Technicians to join our growing team at Auffenberg Dealer Group in Shiloh Illinois. As a member of our team you will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repair services on a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities May Include:
Priming Prepping Sanding Masking for Paint
Conducting full vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs
Repairing and replacing damaged body parts such as doors fenders and bumpers
Straightening and aligning frames and chassis
Welding and soldering damaged areas
Prepping and painting vehicles to match original factory specifications
Repair and refinish damaged vehicles to preaccident condition
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Work efficiently and accurately to meet or exceed deadlines
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician
Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools
Ability to read and interpret repair orders and estimates
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
ICAR certification is a plus
Proficient in all aspects of body repair and refinishing
Knowledge of frame repair and measuring techniques
Experience with advanced repair techniques such as welding riveting and bonding
Strong attention to detail and quality
