Job Description

Mitchell College offers an exciting opportunity for a parttime faculty member who would like to be involved in a collaborative forwardlooking business program. We seek to hire parttime (adjunct) facultywith a focus on finance & accounting. Courses are taught 100 on campus in New London and scheduled during the work week (day and early evening classes) on a Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday schedule.
Required Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in accounting finance or a closely related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience ideally in a financial management or senior level accounting role
- Some experience teaching in higher education would be an advantage.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Moodle LMS or other online teaching & learning platform would be an advantage
- Passion for teaching and for working with diverse learners.
