Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a downtoearth hardworking and rapidly growing business eager to establish its first HR department! Our client has built a strong presence in the Council Bluffs community and the owners are genuinely committed to their employees and the companys longterm success. This role offers you the chance to shape and implement HR processes from the ground up develop new recruiting strategies and build a strong candidate pipeline foster a safer work environment and have a direct impact by working alongside the leadership team. The owners recognize the importance of this role as a key leadership position and understand that to continue their growth and success they need a strong HR professional to guide them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating job postings/descriptions phone screening candidates and coaching other leaders through the interview process
- Employee onboarding and benefits administration this person will lead the charge for benefits negotiations
- Revamping the company safety program and teaming up with operations leaders on best ways to implement it
- High level employee development and performance strategy work with the leadership team on developing employees and giving them a chance to grow with the company
