Job Description
Receives and prepares beverage orders including mixing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner;
Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers cocktail servers;
Know what brands of liquor beer and wine we offer as comped beverages;
Mix alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes;
Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses napkins emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top;
Maintain and replenish ice supply;
Operate cash register complete transactions according to procedures and maintain accurate bank;
Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person never a beer and a shot;
Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay uptodate on care training;
Other reasonable duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School/GED preferred
6 months related experience minimum.
Preferred:
Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations
Excellent guest service communication skills
Exposure to smoke bright lights and noise at times casino environment
Must be able to lift carry and maneuver up to 25 pounds
Able to walk and stand the duration of assigned shift

$11.40 $18.90 Tips
