Description

As a result of further growth of our division Business Assurance in Essen we are looking for 3rd party Auditors or qualified applicants. Ideally candidates will have experience of management systems and have qualifications and approvals for auditing key food sector schemes including IFS and / or BRC and / or FSSC 22000.

We are seeking individuals with experience and competence in manufacturing processes and products across a range of types and supply chains.
A comprehensive training development process is followed which will provide the range of skills and competencies required. Internal auditing or second party audit experience would also be valuable.


DNV Business Assurance conducts a range of protocol-based assessments and we are keen to recruit individuals with experience and/or capabilities in the scored assessment protocols and similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform third-party certification audits for Food & Beverage customers in accordance with IFS FSSC or BRCGS standards
  • Maintain schedule of audit activities in coordination with customers
  • Review customer corrective actions and ensure timely and accurate closure
  • Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursue advancement of current and related certifications as required
  • Provide communication on changes and clarifications related to DNVs Food & Beverage standards to relevant stakeholders
  • Work closely with Resource Management to support auditor qualification and development
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager on operational activities and initiatives
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

Youre a passionate Food & Beverage professional. You match our high standards on delivering customer service excellence living up to the highest levels of quality and expertise and you want to be part of a forward-thinking dynamic global organization.

  • Degree in a food-related or bioscience discipline or at a minimum successful completion of a higher education course in a food-related or bioscience field (or equivalent)
  • Ideally 5 years of work experience in the food industry specifically related to food production and technology
  • Adequate work experience in quality management and food safety within the food sector
  • Preferably a qualification as Lead Auditor for IFS Food and/or BRCGS Food and/or FSSC 22000 Food
  • Experience in auditing GFSI-recognized schemes is an advantage
  • Profound qualification for the standards preferably with relevant industry authorization
  • Very good communication skills
  • High social competence and strong ability to work in a team
  • Valid European driving licence
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in both German and English
