Job Description

Job Description:
The Senior Project Team Lead will play a critical role in the success of the Windows 11 project by leading and mentoring a team of IT Support Analysts responsible for upgrading enduser computers in remote branch locations. This role demands strong technical expertise leadership and communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive enduser experience. The Senior Team Lead will ensure seamless coordination between the Remote Teams the Corporate Support team and the onsite branch contacts while adhering to project timelines and organizational standards.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Lead and supervise a team of IT Support Analysts providing guidance support and technical expertise.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Mentor and coach team members providing opportunities for skill development and professional growth.
Onsite Deployment Coordination:
Oversee the planning and of onsite deployments ensuring efficient and high quality upgrade processes.
Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to align deployment schedules with branch availability and project timelines.
Act as the primary point of contact for onsite branch representatives maintaining positive relationships and addressing any concerns.
Ensure proper conduct and professionalism from the remote project team at all times and that all work conforms to documented standards.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting expertise to the team and endusers.
Escalate complex technical issues to the Corporate Support Project team as needed.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles and support documentation.
Logistics and Reporting:
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager highlighting any challenges or risks.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of project documentation and reporting requirements.
Manage travel logistics for the remote project team including transportation and accommodation. Supporting the submission of expense reports to the project coordinator.


Top Skills:
  1. 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field with demonstrated experience leading technical teams.
  2. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems networking concepts and common software applications.
  3. Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  5. Proven ability to mentor and coach team members fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  6. Class 5 drivers license and a clean driving record.
  7. Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
NOTE: This role requires frequent travel to various branch locations and may involve extended periods away from home. The Senior Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the remote project team while onsite.
