Physical Therapist with Home Care Company Name: University Home Care
Description of the Role:
University Home Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing highquality physical therapy services to patients in their own homes. As a Physical Therapist with Home Care you will play a vital role in improving patients mobility relieving pain and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients medical history assess their physical condition and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide handson therapy exercises and interventions to improve patients strength flexibility and mobility.
- Instruct patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to be performed at home.
- Document patients progress maintain accurate medical records and communicate with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Stay uptodate on the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and modalities.
Requirements:
- Valid and current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a home care setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of physical therapy principles techniques and modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
