Role: Senior Technologist Mechanical (TS)
Contract Duration: 04/14/2025 to 12/31/2025
Location: Saskatoon SK
Vacancies: 2
Hours: M F 40hrs per week
Role Description / Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical design work using 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD Plant 3D and 3D Point Cloud) to develop 3D models 2D drawings on various projects executed within Cameco.
- Work with mechanical engineers in support of development of intelligent P&IDs 3D modelling piping and general arrangements HVAC and other mechanical design drawings
- Develop BOMs and construction work packages
Skills / Previous Experience
- Mechanical designer with experience in 3D modelling in Autodesk Plant3D working knowledge of smart P&IDs in Plant 3D Cloudworx Jetstream 3D Modeling Navisworks and AutoCAD in general
- Previous experience working with Cameco CAD standards & Procedures preferred
- Experience with process piping pumping equipment and layout design HVAC and building services
Corporate based:
Training /Qualification Activities
- To be assigned and completed in ISN prior to attending to a Cameco safetysensitive site (Northern SK sites)
- Location Specific Site Orientation
- Surface Pre Access OR Underground Pre Access (this includes completion of a substance test)
