Job Description
Main duties include:
- Using various computerised despatch systems.
- Use of AS400.
- Dealing with customer collections.
- Use of machinery guillotines punch press saws and drills.
- Internal and external delivery handling.
- Packing orders to ensure the goods arrive with the customer correctly packed and in good condition.
Your working hours will equate to a 40hour week worked according to the following schedule:
Week 1
08.00 16:30 (with 2 x 15minute paid breaks and a 30minute unpaid lunch break)
Week 2
09.00 17:30 (with 2 x 15 minute paid breaks and a 30minute unpaid lunch break)
Overtime may be required on occasion according to the needs of the business
Skills required:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to follow detailed instructions both written and verbal.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out detailed tasks at a fast pace.
- Ability to maintain focus when carrying out repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team within all areas of the Winsford operation both Wall Pro and GFUK.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Office would be desirable but not essential.
- Counterbalance FLT licence would be desirable but not essential.
Previous experience of working in a factory/production/warehouse environment is essential.
