Job Title: Accounts & Audit Manager
Location: Blackburn North West England
Salary: (dependent on experience)
Hours: Fulltime Monday Friday (Flexible/Hybrid working available)

Are you a seasoned audit professional looking to lead grow and develop in a dynamic and supportive environment Join our client a leading independent accountancy practice in Blackburn where youll manage a diverse portfolio of clients and play a pivotal role in shaping the teams future.

The Role

As an Accounts & Audit Manager youll:

  • Provide audit and advisory services to a wide range of corporate clients with 75 of your time focused on statutory audits.
  • Prepare and review yearend accounts and oversee adhoc advisory projects for clients.
  • Build strong client relationships and become a trusted adviser from day one.
  • Work onsite at clients premises across Lancashire and Greater Manchester in the office or remotely through flexible working arrangements.
  • Lead the technical development of the team ensuring highquality and efficient delivery of audit files.
  • Mentor and train team members identifying training needs and delivering internal workshops.
  • Manage budgets invoicing and client payment processes with a commercial mindset.
  • Collaborate closely with directors partners and colleagues across departments to deliver an exceptional client experience.

What Were Looking For

  • Significant experience managing a client portfolio in an audit or mixed audit and accounting role.
  • Expertise in FRS101 FRS102 and FRS1021A financial statements preparation and review.
  • Ideally experience in solicitor accounts rules audits.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive teamoriented approach.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • A desire to grow professionally with ambitions for future progression.
