The Junior Triton Instructor leads activities and supervises students enrolled in the Junior Triton After School program. Additionally the Junior Triton Instructor is committed to Atlantis Charter School Board of Trustees policies regarding equity human rights and cross cultural understanding and reports to the Junior Triton Coordinator or his/her designee.
This position is part time approximately 15 hours per week. Thehours are 2:30pm5:30pm MondayFriday and the pay rate is $17/hour. The program is open to students in grades K6. There may be additional opportunities to work in our day care for under school age children during the school day in addition to after school.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Higher level education courses in related field preferred.
Experience working with children preferred.
Strong communication skills both written and spoken.
Ability to relate well to others

SUPERVISION:None
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
While actual roles and responsibilities will vary depending on individual circumstances the Junior Triton Instructor will generally be required to perform some or all of the following tasks. Note that this list is not allinclusive and that the administrator may also assign other tasks he/she deems appropriate.

An annual performance evaluation of the Junior Triton instructor will be performed by the Program Coordinator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
At will employment. Hourly rate as negotiated per agreement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to walk sit and stand for long periods.
