Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Suffolk to assist with the appointment of a Procurement Business Partner on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 18.81 23.93 per Hour

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to support the delivery of strategic procurement projects and valuedriven sourcing strategies. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure commercial best practices value for money and effective supplier management across key spend categories

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with directorates to provide procurement advice and commercial challenge.
  • Develop and implement procurement and category strategies.
  • Drive cost savings valueadded benefits and social value through procurement.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage procurement projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide market intelligence and spend analysis to support datadriven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Degreelevel education or equivalent experience.
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification (or working towards it).

Experience Required:

  • Substantial experience in procurement within a large complex organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering savings and value through procurement.
  • Experience using procurement systems (e.g. Oracle P2P etendering platforms).
  • Previous involvement in drafting tender documentation and evaluation processes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Understanding of public procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage complex procurement projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
