Job Description
Join TMI Thermal Minerals and Van Beek Natural Science industry leaders in premium mineral production and natural animal health solutions. We are seeking a dedicated Mining Production Associate to support bagging operations at our mill and assist with other production tasks across the mine site. This role plays a key part in our commitment to delivering highquality mineral products to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bagging machines to package bulk mineral products according to production schedules and quality standards
- Conduct quality checks on packaged products including weight labeling and packaging integrity
- Palletize and prepare finished products for shipping
- Assist in mill production tasks such as material handling machine operation and cleaning
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and proper PPE use
- Accurately maintain production records and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in manufacturing mining or industrial production preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (dust noise heat cold)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
