What Youll Do
- Will assist in development and support of integrations between national thirdparty delivery partners and one of the premier Quick Service Restaurants in the country
- Work as part of a highly skilled agile pod using leading edge technologies such as Golang AWS (S3 DynamoDB and Lambda) and Datadog
- Own technical design collaborating closely with client lead engineer
- Own development team delivery quality and user story
- Boost team velocity by developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Estimate and break down user stories or tasks
- Coach and guide junior software engineers
- Assist production support team and trouble more complex issues
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies
- Part of OnCall rotation to address issues that arise
What Youll Bring
- 5 years of overall software engineering experience
- 2 years of Go (Golang) experience
- 2 years experience in backend development
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Strong analytical problemsolving and interpersonal communication skills while working independently
- Strong collaborative team player
- Experience supporting software applications
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Selfstarter with an eagerness to learn new things
- Experience with AWS & DataDog preferred
- Programming knowledge in python is a plus
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
- Experience with the QSR industry is a plus
