Job Summary:
The Director of Technology will play a critical dual role within Softobiz. As the leader of our technology division you will oversee the strategic direction development and implementation of our technology infrastructure and solutions. Simultaneously you will lead our thought leadership team ensuring that our industry insights and content position Softobiz as a leader in innovation and technology trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership:
Strategic Oversight:
Define and drive the overall technology strategy for Softobiz ensuring alignment with the companys business goals and objectives.
Oversee the development and implementation of technology initiatives that improve productivity enhance scalability and drive innovation within the organization.
Technology Infrastructure:
Manage the organizations technology infrastructure ensuring robust secure and scalable systems.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies tools and platforms that align with business needs.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the technology teams fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Ensure that the technology team delivers highquality solutions on time and within budget.
Thought Leadership:
Strategic Direction:
Oversee the thought leadership initiatives ensuring they align with the overall business strategy and highlight Softobizs technological expertise.
Collaborate with the Content Strategist and Subject Matter Expert to develop impactful thought leadership content.
Content Review & Development:
Provide expert insights and review thought leadership content ensuring accuracy relevance and alignment with Softobizs strategic goals.
Approve final content and ensure it reflects the companys brand voice and positioning.
Industry Engagement:
Represent Softobiz at industry events conferences and in media as a technology leader.
Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers partners and stakeholders to enhance the companys visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience:
15 years of experience in technology leadership roles with a strong background in managing technology landscapes and infrastructure.
Proven track record of driving technology innovation and leading crossfunctional teams.
Experience in thought leadership or content strategy is a plus.
Skills:
Deep understanding of current and emerging technology trends with the ability to align these with business goals.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop highperforming teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Strategic thinking with the ability to drive both technology initiatives and thought leadership efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the IT consultancy industry.
Proven experience in leading largescale technology projects.
Active participation in industry groups or forums.

Ensure alignment between the companys longterm goals and emerging technology trends.
Regularly assess the organizations technology infrastructure and suggest improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
2. Leadership & Team Development:
Lead and mentor the technology team driving a culture of innovation continuous learning and excellence.
Ensure the timely delivery of highquality technology solutions by the team.
Monitor and measure team performance identify skills gaps and initiate learning and development initiatives.

Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies tools and platforms that can drive competitive advantage.

4. Thought Leadership Strategy:
Lead the thought leadership team to produce content that positions Softobiz as an industry leader.
Ensure that thought leadership content aligns with Softobizs strategic direction and resonates with target audiences.
Collaborate with the Content Strategist and Subject Matter Experts to generate insightful highquality content.
5. Industry Engagement & Representation:
Act as the face of Softobiz at industry events conferences and in media engagements.
Build relationships with industry stakeholders to elevate the companys profile in the tech industry.
Stay connected with influencers partners and competitors to understand market trends and positioning.
6. Technology Infrastructure & Systems Management:
Oversee the management and optimization of IT infrastructure ensuring security scalability and performance.
Ensure the technology infrastructure meets compliance security and regulatory standards.
Drive efforts to enhance operational efficiency through technology.
7. Budget & Resource Management:
Manage the technology departments budget ensuring optimal use of resources and costeffectiveness.
Track and monitor technology investments and their impact on business outcomes.
Align technology spending with overall business priorities and strategic objectives.
8. Collaboration with CrossFunctional Teams:
Work closely with the leadership team providing strategic advice on technology trends and initiatives.
Collaborate with other departments such as Sales Marketing and Operations to ensure technology supports overall business success.
Ensure seamless communication and coordination between the technology and business teams.
9. Project Management:
Oversee largescale technology projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to scope.
Implement best practices for project management focusing on risk management resource allocation and progress tracking.
10. Thought Leadership Content Development:
Regularly review refine and approve thought leadership content to ensure it meets the companys brand and strategic goals.
Ensure content is technically accurate and demonstrates Softobizs expertise in the IT consultancy space.
