For one of our ongoing multiyear projects we are looking for a Technical Writer out of Madison WI.
Responsibilities:
Writes a variety of technical articles reports brochures and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Technical Writer capabilities with 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Must Have:
Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy detail and followthrough; punctual and meets deadlines; effectively prioritizes tasks to meet expectations.
Document design format and editing
Ability to develop user documentation and perform training
Design user training draft informational and educational materials
Document standards development
Information synthesis and organization
Publication tools selection and use
Ability to document procedures processes guidelines and data dictionaries for technical and nontechnical users.
Experience developing system documentation
Troubleshoot/Document network and desktop communications
