You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailGailey Eye Clinic is seeking a passionate leader to supervise the daytoday operations of our Springfield clinic. This individual must be interested in a longterm career with a growing fast paced eye care practice possess strong leadership qualities be willing to work alongside their team and provide outstanding care to our patients. Extensive Onsite training will be provided.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform or assist other team members with patient care as needed to achieve positive clinical outcomes and customer service.
Scribe with ophthalmologist / optometrist during patient examinations.
Complete Gailey Eye Clinic ophthalmic assistant (OA) training program. To provide support for ophthalmologist / optometrist and prepare patients for their examination
Schedule staffing including providing staffing support as needed for other clinics.
Complete performance evaluations for staff.
Coordinate with main office managers when preparing evaluations for patient care optical and front office staff.
Monitor patient flow and doctor schedules. Review doctor schedules to maximize time and productivity in satellite.
Monitor physical appearance of clinic.
Participate in chart audit compliance activities and follow up with staff.
Collaborates with Clinical Department Managers in planning and organizing clinical services to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Directors for improving techniques policies and procedures.
Provides leadership and counsel to clinical personnel to enhance staff development by setting goals supervising and evaluating work activities.
Maintains communication between regional managers and clinical managers/staff in relation to clinical flow policies and procedures
Establishes and maintains quality control procedures by collecting measuring and monitoring data reports and work flow statistics.

Minimum Job Requirements (Education Experience Skills):
Clinical Supervisor experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High level of organizational skills accuracy attention to detail critical thinking skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of business practices
Knowledge and ability to fulfill patient care role on a regular basis.
Ability to use computer software.
Ability to effectively present information to Directors Regional and clinical managers/staff.
Excellent communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Able to work independently & effectively in a team environment.
Strong organization and planning skills.
Able to work effectively with the public.
Ability to travel as needed.
Physical Demands:
This position requires incumbent to sit at a desk and/or stand for long periods of time during regularly scheduled work hours. The physical demands of this job may include but not limited to sitting reaching stooping crouching kneeling climbing twisting hearing and repetitive motions. The ability to life up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions and Environment:
Incumbent works in a temperature controlled medical office environment.

Pay: The starting range for this position is $23.00 $26.70/hr depending on skills experience and qualifications as well as market considerations. The Clinic Supervisor position is also eligible for a wage increase of $1.00/hour once certification is obtained. Certification (COA) can be obtained around 1 year of employment.
