Responsibilities
Seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to serve as Medical Director for our hospitalist practice at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister CA.
- Responsibilities include coverage for highrisk deliveries emergency room consults pediatric admissions of low acuity and well newborn care.
- Newborns requiring NICU care are transported to our affiliated LevelIII NICU at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose.
- The hospital delivers about 500 babies annually.
- The fulltime schedule is twelve 24hour shifts per month with call from home.
- Commuters are welcome to apply.
Located just 25 miles east of Monterey Bay and 40 miles from the Monterey/Carmel area Hollister is a semirural area famous for its fresh and healthy crops. Here youll find some of the states best wineries spectacular outdoor adventures worldclass golf charming shops and a wide variety of wellreviewed restaurants. The beautiful hills and valleys of San Benito County make it a dreamland for outdoor lovers. Although it is growing quickly Hollister still maintains the beauties and comforts of a small town making it an ideal place to call home.
Qualifications
BC Pediatrician with current inhouse hospital experience.

- Base compensation is $190000 $230000 plus director stipend
