Design deploy configure and maintain VoIP systems and solutions including but not limited to VoIP telephony SIP trunks IP PBX and unified communications platforms.
Implement and manage VoIP protocols and technologies such as SIP H.323 MGCP and RTP.
Integrate VoIP solutions with existing network infrastructure and enterprise systems ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
Perform system upgrades patches and migrations while minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VoIP and collaboration tools addressing escalated issues and working towards resolution.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including network engineers system administrators and endusers to deliver comprehensive VoIP solutions.
Conduct testing and evaluation of new VoIP technologies and features making recommendations for enhancements or improvements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including system configurations network diagrams and operational procedures.
Stay informed about industry trends best practices and emerging technologies related to VoIP and collaboration tools.
*Strong knowlege for Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g. routers switches firewalls VPN Cloud NAS Microsoft 365
*Deeply knowlege of Microsoft Office 365 Admin portal and Microsoft Products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Telecommunications or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a VoIP Engineer or similar role with expertise in designing and implementing VoIP solutions.
Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols and standards including SIP H.323 RTP and related technologies.
Experience with IP telephony systems such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Avaya Aura or similar platforms.
Familiarity with VoIP hardware including IP phones gateways and session border controllers (SBCs).
Proficiency in network routing switching and security concepts with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients vendors and team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as CCNA Voice/Collaboration CCNP Voice/Collaboration or equivalent.
Experience with cloudbased VoIP solutions and integration with unified communications as a service (UCaaS) platform.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python) for automation and customization of VoIP systems.
Understanding of QoS (Quality of Service) principles and their application in VoIP networks.
