Job Description
Certified Nurse Midwife
We have recently partnered with a very progressive wellrun and financially stable notforprofit organization south of Phoenix AZ. They have been in business for over 50 years and have a proven track record of patient satisfaction compassion and quality care. Our client is currently searching for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join the team. The CNM promotes and maintains patients health by providing midwifery services to the extent to which she /he is licensed and/or certified while collaborating with an OBGYN physician.

Requirements:
- Current Arizona Certified Nurse Midwife in good standing
- Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program
Responsibilities:
- MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- After hours Call on rotation
- No Weekends
- Full Support Staff
- Manage the Centers OBGYN patients who present to the emergency department L&D triage or are directly admitted to L&D in coordination with the assigned collaborative physician during the CNMs assigned on call shifts
- See ambulatory patients in the Clinic for selected laboratory testing examination diagnosis and treatment of both chronic and acute episodic illnesses and minor injuries
- Either indirectly or directly provide health screenings such as pap smears mammograms and colorectal cancer screenings
- Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens giving normal and abnormal development information discussing family planning providing counseling on sexually transmitted diseases discussing prenatal and postpartum issues and promoting wellness and health maintenance
