Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems software and hardware
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; and escalating unresolved problems
- Monitor managed services ticketing system for info on issues occurring
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Enhance the organizations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Provide support and guidance to personnel and assist in troubleshooting processes to support their professional development
- Work with managed services vendor as well as other software and hardware vendors
- Maintain information and plans with all site info
- Must be comfortable with travel within a 30mile radius (as needed) and the ability to travel seasonally during growing season 2 to 3 days per visit may every 1 to 2 months) between Sept to March
Education Certification and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or related area OR Technical Certifications
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in produce production and packaging
- Network engineering experience working with multiple divisions operating under the same organizational umbrella
- Will be responsible for local networking and hardware concerns including general support of printers scanners etc
- Will also work on local projects such as general software upgrades/updates (i.e. Windows Versioning)
- Knowledge of working with call centers and ticketing technologies with external support and vendors.
- Strong communication skills to help internal customers stay updated on statuses and ability to notify stakeholders of issues or areas of concern
- Ability to prioritize issues and coordinate with other areas as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to support end users while providing a superior customer service experience utilizing intermediate to advanced technical skills.
