Job Description
A progressive small animal veterinary practice in Dundalk Co. Louth is seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of animals and collaborate with a young motivated team that prioritizes exceptional patient care.
The Role
- Position: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
- Contract: Fulltime Permanent
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week 5 days)
- Shift Hours: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
- Salary:per annum
- Additional Benefits: No outofhours (OOH) Sundays or Bank Holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting clinical consultations within a first opinion practice setting.
- Performing routine surgical procedures (spays castrations lump removals etc..
- Carrying out clinical procedures and routine diagnostics (xrays ear examinations medical case workups etc..
Applicant Requirements
- All eligible candidates must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
- At least 12 months of experience in first opinion practice is preferable.
- New graduates who are confident in basic surgical procedures are encouraged to apply.
- Must be an organized individual with excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player who can collaborate effectively within a professional veterinary team.
