Our law firm located in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas is seeking a Controller.The Controller will oversee all finance accounting and reporting operations of the Firm. The Controller reports directly to the Director of Finance.

Our law firm located in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas is seeking a Controller.The Controller will oversee all finance accounting and reporting operations of the Firm. The Controller reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Responsible for the following:
- Oversee all accounts ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue costs and program budgets and actual expenditures.
- Coordinate all audit activity.
- Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage organizational cash flow forecasting and prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
- Plan implement and manage the Firms overall financial and tax strategy.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the Firms liabilities and investments.
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
- Continually suggest ideas for improvement and process optimization.
- Plan and manage all audit and internal control operations.
- Oversee employee benefit plans with emphasis on maximizing a costeffective benefits package.
- 810 years experience of accounting or finance with at least 5 years in a management role.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- Knowledge or prior experience in legal preferred but not required.
- Possess knowledge of all aspects of accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience in finance and business is required.
- Experience should include legal audit compliance budget and resource development.
- Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels.
