South Umpqua School District has an openingfor a Dean of Students at Coffenberry Middle School for the 2025/2026 school year.
Douglas County is located in Southern Oregon along the I5 corridor. Our School District consists of 5 schoolsserving students from the communities of Canyonville Myrtle Creek and TriCity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A valid Oregon Teaching License
Minimum of three years of successful teaching in a publicschool setting preferably experience at the secondary level
Experience coaching and providing feedback to teachers
Knowledge of and experience with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with staff students and parents.
Position Summary: Provides and promotes a comprehensive developmental program of student supervision and student management that will assist students in achieving optimal success in academics and personalsocial growth. Works collaboratively in this regard with administrators school staff parents and community members.
