What is this career opportunity
This position performs basic installation maintenance problem diagnosis and repairs of all types of network equipment and connectivity issues. It is also responsible for cabling fiber install preparing splicing and troubleshooting inside and outside plant fiber optic cables and systems. This position supports the continued functioning of governmental services by ensuring network connectivity to state facilities. Travel is required up to 30 of the time with 10 including overnight.
What are we looking for
Associates degree in information technology ComputerScienceor a related field and
2 years of applicable cabling and network diagnostics experience
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a casebycase basis.
