Job Description

At Freddie Mac you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and youll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Position Overview:

The Product Analyst Tech Lead will be part of the Freddie Macs Single Family Finance Accounting and Reporting Team within the Enterprise Business Technology Office.

This team is responsible for partnering with the Single Family Finance organization to deliver solutions and capabilities that transform the business. This role will be supporting our development efforts within the Single Family Accounting and Reporting area implementing and deploying accounting systems and collaborating with multidiscipline technology teams.

In this role you will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams identifying business needs and translating them into actionable user stories. You will research and document data lineage and analyze data received from upstream sources. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle leveraging the latest technologies and architectures.

The ideal candidate will have strong problemsolving skills an analytical mindset a deep understanding of data science subjects and techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Our Impact:

  • Delivery of Finance accounting and reporting solutions to optimally perform automated accounting functions and support data analysis.

  • Delivery of integrations between Finance systems and other systems

  • Delivery and support of solutions for the Finance data platform to enable effective data analytics and reporting.

  • Collaboration with other technology teams to advance our technical capabilities automate and optimize processes to meet business challenges

Your Impact:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including business leaders and product owners to capture and document business objectives

  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends patterns and insights that can advise business decisions and strategies

  • Work with technical teams to craft develop and implement solutions that meet business needs. Ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes

  • Stay up to date with industry/enterprise standards latest technologies and general principles and techniques.

  • Build clear and concise documentation

  • Contribute to creation of and maintenance of delivery pipelines for newly created services/solutions.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred

  • Typically has 8 10 years related experience

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to assess complex business challenges and develop solutions

  • 8 years of experience as a business or product analyst

  • 4 years of experience with SQL and Relational Databases

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS

  • Experience with various databases such as PostgreSQL SQL Server

  • A background in Finance preferably Financial accounting and associated Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $122000 $182000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
