BASIC FUNCTION : Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Ecology courses up to 10 hours/week Organize and teach all levels of Ecology classes Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day evening and/or weekend teaching assignments which may include distance learning (interactive television online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department division and collegewide initiatives and committees if desired
Required Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS : The successful candidate by the final filing date must possess the minimum qualifications stated below: Masters in ecology or environmental studies OR the equivalent OR see Interdisciplinary Studies Masters in the interdisciplinary area OR Masters in one of the disciplines included in the inter disciplinary area and upper division or graduate course work in at least one other constituent discipline.
