1. Ensures all students are engaged in a learning experience that supports intellectual and socialemotional growth in a competency based learning environment;2. Works collaboratively with building principal students staff and families to support student and staff needs;3. Works directly with students to adopt behaviors that substantially increase their academic performance; 4. Promotes and uses a pushin model of targeted individualized intervention5. Under the supervision of the building Principal provides diversified instructional strategies and activities specifically designed for targeted students6. Consults with and maintains a positive professional relationship with grade level teachers and parents about specific student academic needs7. Lead data driven team meeting for ongoing progress monitoring8. Knowledge of current rules and regulations in special education ESOL 504 and other programs
