Job Description
Dayto Day:
- Provide technical support and task management for transportation projects
- Assists in planning preparation of transportation projects.
- Performs field technical reviews of ITS/Traffic designs.
- Ability to communicate with other team members working on the same projects. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing particularly related to technical information. Ability to organize projects and tasks while staying on schedule and meet required deadlines.
- Attends project specific meetings
- All facets of the plans production process and other ancillary tasks as required.
- Assist in ITS Plans design
- Field reviews in support of designs and studies
- Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) tasks
- Cost estimating
- Working from home Mondays and Fridays; work in the office TuesdayThursday
What you should bring:
- Must have an engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Experience in traffic engineering preferred
- Excellent interpersonal analytical and communication skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to organize projects and tasks stay on schedule and meet required deadlines
- Knowledge in use of Microsoft Office
- Experience using Bentley MicroStation or GIS is a plus
