I am currently recruiting experienced Structural/ Heavy Steel Welders to join a leading structural steel business based in in Lostock Bolton. They are offering immediate starts on both the day and the night shift
Great PAYE pay rates
- Day Shift 18.19ph Basic 41618 pa
- Night Shift 24.25ph Basic 55484 pa
Shifts & Overtime:
- Day Shift Monday Thursday: 06:45 17:00 30minute unpaid lunch) Friday: 06:45 11:45
- Night Shift Monday to Wednesday 6pm6.30am Thursday 6pm2am
- 44 hours per week
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
The Role:
- Carrying out fluxcored and MAG welding (FCAW) in all positions
- Sub Arc welding advantageous but not essential
- Work from drawings
- Welding single and multi run fillet welds part and full penetration butt welds
- Welding to coded standards
Weld Test:
- Candidates must be prepared to attend a site weld test which includes:
1x vertical 10FW (FCAW)
1x downhand butt weld (MAG)
1x 10FW (MAG)
I would love to see your CV if you :
- Strong background in heavy structural steel welding
- Experience welding to structural coded standards
- Can work from engineering drawings and welding symbols
