Job summary
Minimum 42 hour week
Working any 5 days out of 7
Some nights away required
Some weekend work required
Variable start/finish times depending upon business requirements
Specific responsibilities
To deliver Herman Miller products to end customers as required.
Company requirements
Health & Safety; ensure that safe working practices are followed. Attend safety briefings as requested. Take responsibility for your own and your coworkers safety in accordance with The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulation 1999 Compliance; ensure compliance with business systems processes certification schemes regulations and legislation relevant to the scope of your role. Support internal quality controls and audits to demonstrate compliance.
Job holder requirements
CE licence (artic)
Digital tachograph card
Driver qualification card (CPC)
No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
Working knowledge of drivers hours and the working time directive
Drawbar experience preferred but not essential.
Good geographical knowledge
