IMO Health is a clinical data intelligence business improving how data is used across the healthcare landscape. Combining rich highly nuanced medical terminology extensive domain knowledge and artificial intelligence (AI) we expertly structure and operationalize clinical data to generate sharper insights and inform more intelligent decisionmaking.
This position follows a hybrid work model with three days onsite (Tuesday through Thursday) at our Rosemont HQ Chicago or Houston office.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Accounting Intern to join our Enterprise team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain handson experience in accounting reporting and general ledger management. As an Accounting Intern you will work alongside the accounting team and assist in various daytoday accounting operations.
What Youll Do:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and general ledger entries.
- Help reconcile accounts including bank statements credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Assist in handling payroll data and ensuring accurate calculations and compliance.
- Help prepare financial statements and reports for internal use and external auditors.
- Assist with tax filings compliance and documentation as needed.
- Perform various data entry tasks and maintain accounting records and files.
What Youll Need:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills) with familiarity in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
$20 $22 an hour
