Job Description

For one of our going on project we are looking for Middleware (WebLogic to Tomcat) Developer w/ OpenShift Container and/or Kubernetes and Docker. The position is based out of Jersey City NJ. Locals preferred but can be done remotely for the time being this year.
Skills:
12 years of handson software development experience in designing implementing large complex distributed systems
Extensive experience with WebLogic Tomcat or other similar Application servers (WebLogic AND Tomcat preferred)
Big Plus: Knowledge and proficiency in OpenShift Container Platform and/or Kubernetes/Docker
Extensive knowledge in client/server and objectoriented software development utilizing Core Java JSON MQ JMS
Knowledge of relational databases including Oracle and MidTier to Database development principles
Deep understanding of large scale enterprise systems and their architecture
Knowledge of different Java surrounding technology and protocols and how they are used in enterprise applications (HTTP TCP XML Multicast Distributed Caching etc.
Must be proficient in Maven compiled applications
Proficiency in various phases of the system development life cycle including project planning analysis design programming and unittesting
Solid experience in software development using CI/CD tools
Expert and proficient in Linux Shell and Perl scripting
Familiarity with different software development methodologies especially Agile (Waterfall Agile Scrum Kanban)
Big Plus: Knowledge and proficiency in OpenShift Container Platform and/or Kubernetes/Docker
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Financial industry a plus
