Job Description

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on oilinjected and oilfree air compressors in FCX actuation facility or customer plant locations.
  • Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot inspect and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors determine possible causes for malfunctions and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment
  • Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs test and document the proper operating parameters of the compressor.
  • Display the ability to manage time accordingly. Must have the ability to work and solve problems independently.
  • Complete field service worksheets and submit to job coordinator upon completion of work.
  • Obtain all site specific and safety related training to perform service repairs.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates Degree/Technical Degree preferred.
  • 13 years previous control valve and pump experience desired; experience with hydraulics/pneumatics helpful but not required.
  • Basic computer proficiency required namely the ability to operate Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of required equipment including hand tools power tools machining equipment etc.
  • Clean driving record.

Work Environment:

  • Standard warehouse environment; including machine shop paint booth equipment operation shipping & receiving inventory area.
