Job Description

Position: Electrical Engineer IV

Location: Albuquerque NM

Years of Experience: 6 Years

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Engineer IV you will apply your design knowledge and expertise to create final construction drawings for the owner supporting them throughout the construction process. You will also act as a mentor to less experienced engineers and CAD drafters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and timely produce electrical design elements that meet project specifications and parameters.
  • Create construction electrical documents suitable for permitting based on project specifics.
  • Actively participate in postdesign activities from punch lists to construction completion.
  • Ensure the quality of electrical design adheres to established standards.
  • Effectively manage project timelines and communication between the design team and the client.
  • Provide timely consultation on projects to manage schedules deadlines site surveys punch lists building codes and standards.
  • Produce accurate and complete engineering project specifications within project parameters.
  • Timely bill projects to the accounting department.
  • Adhere to established work rules policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve processes create efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Assist in preparing other projectrelated documents with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Willingly take on additional duties roles or responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of engineering drafting standards.
  • Expert knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and other trades.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EIT and/or PE certification.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel is anticipated between 010.
