Job Description
Role: Head Management Information Systems
Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer
Role Definition: The Head of MIS is responsible for overseeing the development implementation and management of information systems that support business decisionmaking. The role focuses on data accuracy reporting efficiency system integration and strategic insights to drive business performance
Deliverables:
1. Design & implement MIS strategies to optimize data management and reporting.
2. Ensure data accuracy consistency and security across all business functions.
3. Develop realtime dashboards and analytics tools for performance tracking.
4. Collaborate with IT finance sales and operations teams to streamline reporting mechanisms.
5. Drive automation and digitization of business intelligence processes.
Responsibilities:
Strategic MIS Management:
Develop and execute an MIS roadmap aligned with business goals.
Standardize data collection storage and reporting methodologies across departments.
Establish governance frameworks for data integrity and security compliance.
Conduct periodic reviews to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Provide strategic insights based on data trends to support business growth.
Data Management & Reporting:
Develop and maintain structured data repositories to facilitate quick and accurate reporting.
Automate data extraction processing and visualization to reduce manual effort.
Create dynamic dashboards that provide key business intelligence in real time.
Conduct monthly reviews of MIS reports to ensure alignment with company KPIs.
Ensure MIS reports are actionable and support leadership decisionmaking.
Technology & System Integration:
Lead integration of MIS with existing ERP CRM and financial systems.
Oversee the implementation of advanced analytics AIdriven insights and data warehousing solutions.
Ensure seamless communication between different business software platforms.
Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Establish protocols for data security backup and recovery.
Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
Develop and implement SOPs for secure data handling and user access management.
Success Metrics:
Data Accuracy: Ensuring 100 accuracy in MIS reports and dashboards.
Efficiency Gains: Reduction in manual reporting efforts and turnaround time.
User Adoption: Increased utilization of MIS reports by key stakeholders.
Security Compliance: Zero critical data breaches or noncompliance incidents.
Role Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in MIS business intelligence or data analytics preferably in healthcare finance or enterprise systems.
Skills: Strong expertise in data visualization automation predictive analytics system integration and process optimization.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of database management reporting frameworks regulatory compliance and business intelligence best practices.
Technology & Analytics: Proficiency in SQL Power BI Tableau (for data analytics) ERP systems and advanced Excel for data modeling.
