Job Description
- Cooking position is responsible for preparing evening meal per daily menu/recipes checking for accuracy attractiveness proper temps and modifications.
- Prepares individual servings according to portion control standards special diet alternates or food modification.
- Assists the dietary team members with stocking food inventory including dry storage freezer refrigerator.
- Responsible for light and general cleaning kitchen area and securing area for the night. Also responsible for scheduled cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Works as part of dietary team performing other duties as assigned. Willing to be trained for other cooking responsibilities.

- High School diploma or GED or any combination of education experience and skills which would demonstrate ability to perform job responsibilities.
- Experience in preparation of meals on a regular basis is preferred but interest in learning food service may substitute.
