mtheory provides artist managers with services support and capabilities across a wide range of disciplines including marketing touring live event production financing digital services and label services. Responsibilities
Social media & content creation
Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for Instagram and LinkedIn ensuring alignment with EA voice and initiatives
Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement
Interact with followers respond to comments/messages and track key performance metrics
Support in the creation of graphics and captions to promote artist initiatives and industry updates
Create and manage newsletters via Mailchimp including drafting content formatting and tracking engagement metrics
Data tracking and reporting
Maintain and update artist and manager analytics reports tracking new releases playlisting and audience insights
Use mtheory templates to create social/digital audits fan finders song EP and album reporting
Be well versed in Excel and Google Docs to create and update reports
Support internal reporting needs by pulling relevant data and insights
General support
Stay up to date on industry trends emerging platforms and best practices in digital marketing
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm content ideas and refine marketing strategies
Assist with additional administrative or projectbased tasks as needed
Preferred Skills
Passion in advocating for diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) within Country music
Enthusiasm and a desire to learn
A selfstarter who can take direction but work independently
An approachable and positive attitude
Experience managing social media accounts and scheduling content
Basic video editing and graphic design skills or familiarity with platforms (Canva Photoshop Premiere Capcut)
Great organizational skills and an ability to multitask
A strong interest in music artist and business management
Previous internship experience in the industry is beneficial
Position Information
Internship is parttime (preferred: minimum of 3 days per week for 15 weeks)
Internship is paid at the minimum wage of the state in which the office the intern is working in
College credit is available
Access to a reliable internet connection is required for this position
