Job Description
Job Duties:
- Provides support for implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
- Provides support to IT systems including daytoday operations monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices mobile devices etc.
- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification diagnosis and resolutions of problems
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning
- Provide indepth experience in troubleshooting IT systems
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operates system software troubleshoots maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Support the design of systems mission architecture and associate hardware
- Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration
Required Skills:
- US Citizens Only
- Active TS/SCI Clearance andPolygraph required
- Minimum of fifteen 15 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelorsdegree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline
- Five 5 years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for Bachelorsdegree
- Must be CWIP Certified IAT II or higher
- Security CE or equivalent
Compensation Range: $102619.35 $137691.35
Compensation ranges encompass a total compensation package and are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including but not limited to: level of position complexity of job responsibilities geographic location candidates scope of relevant work experience educational background certifications contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
