Job Description:
As an Engineering Manager at Skillz you will lead highperforming teams responsible for building scalable services with a focus on reliability uptime and costefficiency. Youll be a handson leader coaching and motivating engineers while driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence. The position requires close collaborationwith crossfunctional teams to prioritise features manage risks and communicate technical solutions to nontechnical stakeholders. Youll work with product and engineering leadership to track schedules dependencies and critical paths.
- Experience in React Native mobile development.
- in mobile development for Android and iOS including maintenance and review using at least two languages from this list: React Native (JavaScript TypeScript) Java Kotlin ObjectiveC Swift.
- Experience in the gaming industry or with payment systems is a plus.
- Proven handson leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams with a healthy tenure 2 years per role) and a strong track record of promotions.
- Ability to work inoffice on a Hybrid setup in Bangalore.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
