As a Nurse Practitioner youll be at the heart of improving the lives of residents in longterm care. Youll work closely with an amazing interdisciplinary team including the Administrator and the Practice Innovation and Education team to ensure topquality care and outcomes for those with medically complex needs. This is your chance to shine as a key leader share your specialized knowledge and collaborate to enhance healthcare delivery every day.
What Youll Do:
- Lead with Compassion: Guide our dedicated Registered Staff in delivering the best clinical care. Youll perform indepth health assessments develop comprehensive care plans and work closely with physicians families and decisionmakers to treat both acute and chronic health conditions.
- Build Meaningful Relationships: Its not just about clinical expertiseits about people. Youll mentor and coach staff while building strong compassionate relationships with residents and their families. Together youll create a culture of healing growth and comfort.
- Lead with Purpose: Manage the High Intensity Needs budget order diagnostic tests interpret results and make clinical decisionsall while providing leadership that ensures the highest level of care and supports the Centres commitment to quality holistic care.
- Create a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Lead by example and inspire collaboration education and a focus on excellence. Youll foster a space where healing isnt just physicalits emotional and holistic.

What Youll Need:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (Primary Health Care or Adult)
- At least 5 years of related experience
- CPR certification for healthcare professionals and standard first aid
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed to Regional standards
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
Your Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced expertise in assessing and treating older adults with conditions like delirium cognitive impairments and behavioral disturbances
- Proven ability to support patient and family education as well as staff training
- Strong clinical skills in complex disease management and ethical decisionmaking
- Computer literacy and attention to detail in documentation
