Summary
The Remittance Research Representative I is part of the Accounts Receivables Management (ARM) Group. The ARM Group resides in Retail Customer Operations. This position is the primary contact for conducting payment research issue resolution for Retail Remittance Services. This position is also responsible for supporting the processing of manual payments and entries/adjustments into Retail customer accounts.
Duties/Responsibilities
Analyze and correct errors related to payment processing.
Research and resolve customer payment inquiries.(Some interaction with customers or third party vendors)
Keep daily progress reports.
Communicate to management significant or recurring patterns of payment problems.
Research and resolve customer payment exceptions process the payments to the appropriate accounts.
Support manual processing including data entry.
Support manual processing of incoming mail pieces with USPS process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required. (Some college is desirable)
Experience
2 years customer service and data entry related experience. Knowledge of the utility and/or deregulated energy industry is a plus.
SAP FICO processing knowledge is desired.

Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License.
Working Conditions
Fast paced office environment with high volume workload.
Frequent use of computers i.e. typing on keyboards viewing monitors etc.
Overtime as required.
