CNC Programmer/Operator
Are you ready to bring your CNC skills to a team that values precision and innovation At Martin Sprocket & Gear were dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components material handling systems and custom forgings with excellence and were looking for skilled CNC Programmers/Operators like you!
What Youll Do:
- Analyze specifications: Review job orders blueprints and technical drawings to calculate dimensions select tools and determine machine speeds.
- Program CNC machines: Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
- CNC setup & calibration: Set up CNC equipment calibrate tools and ensure proper machine function before production.
- Trial runs & adjustments: Perform trial simulations adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
- Safety & cleanliness: Follow all safety standards wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor and maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
Crossdepartmental support: Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations.
What Youll Bring:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3axis CNC mills.
- CAM software: Experience with CAM software preferred.
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes.
- Mathematics & communication: Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
- Problemsolving & teamwork: Strong problemsolving abilities and a collaborative teamoriented mindset.
- Physical requirements: Ability to work in a nonclimatecontrolled environment.
- Work ethic: Dependable with a commitment to highquality precise work standards.
Your Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday 2:30 PM 1:00 AM

- 2nd shift: 6 added to your hourly wage.
- 3rd shift: 8 added to your hourly wage.
Wage information:
- Wage Range: $24.68 $36.43 per hour
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to Californias SB 1162 Pay Equity Law. It is estimated based on what a successful California applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of Martins salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be within the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Martins total compensation package for employees. In addition Martin provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage an employee wellness program life and disability insurance a profitsharing plan a 401K trust plan paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
