YOUR MISSION

Join us and become a key member of Glovos Italy Strategy Operations team! We offer a challenging and dynamic environment with many opportunities for learning and development.

We are looking for a talented Operations Analyst Intern who will find the balance between creativity and datadriven objectivity to help us in carrying out projects that seem impossible until they come true.

You will be in charge of providing data for the main courier strategies of the Operations team. Through analytics you will be identifying different ways of maximizing the engagement of the couriers at an order hour and monthly level. The KPIs that youll be shaping are among the most important ones for Operations since all the decisions taken in the department impact directly on the investments of the whole department.

THE JOURNEY

• Provide analytical support to the regional teams through a deeper understanding of Glovos operations model
• Continuous exploration and optimization of the main operations metrics (delivery time efficiency costs) methodology which will force you to understand the 360 of Glovos operations
• Collaborate with the Product team to produce analytical deep dives into the impact of new features in the Italian market
• Own dashboards and build new tools to improve the visibility of metrics in the department
• Develop analytical frameworks and models and be able to instruct and communicate with all the department
• Evaluate strategic opportunities performing a broad range of quantitative analyses and A/B tests
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the courier profitability through outofthebox thinking

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Degree in Engineering Maths or any technological domain
• Proactive!
• Passionate about analytics: you enjoy deep diving into problems to find the root cause
• Problemsolving skills: no problem is too small or too big
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau Looker Data Studio or Qlikview
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English is a must)
