Department: Accounting Status: Full Time Working Conditions: Depends on candidates location Remote or Hybrid Location: Candidates from Austen or Dallas preferred but also open to candidates based in Texas
Are you someone that is passionate about financial systems and business process improvement We have an exciting opportunity to join our close knit team as a Senior Analyst Financial Systems where you will play a key role in leading and implementing projects that will make a significant impact within our organization.
We are ideally looking for someone that has a strong Accounting background that can translate the needs of the Accounting background into clear and concise requirements for IT. This person would also be able to identify reconciliation process or systems gaps that Accounting didnt think of and that IT would not have the Accounting knowledge to identify.
Essential Duties
Analyze business needs and initiate projects to propose functional solutions aligned with best practices.
Recommend and configure customization in financial systems according to established processes and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with the accounting system best practices and functional requirements.
Collaborate with IT teams to maintain platform stability.
Identify areas for process improvement.
Managing module maturity and overall functionality.
Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation.
Provide enduser training and support on new features and system updates.
Participate in system validation and nonregression testing.
Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
What you Have:
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance Business Administration Information Systems or related field
5 8 years experience in financial systems analysis business process improvement or related roles within the finance or accounting field and capacity to quickly adapt to new software.
Knowledge and experience with GAAP Standards
Proven training experience with financial systems including such as Oracle NetSuite Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience in project management systems implementation data analysis and financial reporting.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools and analytics platforms for financial data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional organizational and detailoriented skills with adeptness in multitasking and prioritizing with meticulous attention to detail
Resilience under pressure with effective time management skills and organization and prioritization skills that will enable you to handle multiple projects.
Independence while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Adaptability towards procedural and organizational changes.
