The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Provisioning Analyst (Associate) to support our KC46 Tanker Provisioning Team in Tukwila Washington. The KC46 Provisioning Team supports the fielded KC46 Tankers in the USAF and international customers fleets and is a dynamic fast paced franchise program that is in the early stages of fleet deployment and sustainment support.
Provisioning (Parts Data) is the management process for determining and acquiring the range and quantity of support items necessary to operate and maintain an end item of materiel. Its documentation is the analysis of engineering source data documents used to identify recommend and determine spare and repair part requirements. It provides the customer with the analytical decisions and recommendations that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements. It impacts several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as ongoing life cycle demands.
Our team is currently hiring for Associate Level Support Maintenance Analyst Provisioners.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborates closely with customer support product management and supply support services to develop highquality customer specific content.
- Develops maintains and edits singlesourced content according to department and company quality and development design practices.
- Participates in the data development stages to help identify and resolve gaps between customer requirements technical design and to improve data content of the product to help bolster the supply support readiness level.
- Balances multiple projects including projects beyond normal scope and works as an integral part of the Provisioning team.
- Ensures content and delivery of technical data meets the KC46 enduser requirements.
- Provides regular updates on project status.
- Contributes to shared knowledge and industry bestpractices across a larger team.
- Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to determine content needs and schedules. Meets all scheduled deliverables. Create a variety of types of content based on customer needs priorities and program schedules.
- Contribute to departmental best practices including style guidelines organization configuration management tools and procedures.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2 years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Microsoft Excel experience
- 2 years experience working in a structured logistics database such as SLICWave or PowerlogJ
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college university technical school licensing/certification programs etc.
- Experience working with or supporting military aircraft
- US military supply support experience
- Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance
