BBG Construction Law is a Denverbased boutiqueconstruction law firm founded on construction law expertise and industryexperience. Our clients include leaders in the construction industry and relyon us to litigate arbitrate or otherwise resolve complex disputes related toconstruction projects draft and negotiate highstakes highdollar constructionagreements and advise project teams on high profile construction projects. Ourwork is intellectually challenging and fastpaced requiring the highest levelof performance and top talent. Relevant work experience excellentacademic credentials and strong interpersonal skills are required.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

  • Reviewdraft and negotiate a variety of industry specific contracts on behalf of ourclients.
  • Developstrategies for achieving client goals on construction projects.
  • Supportproject teams and help resolve project issues during preconstruction andconstruction phases of projects.
  • Providedaytoday advice to and communicate regularly with clients regarding projectmatters.
  • Performlegal research and draft client guidance regarding a variety of constructionlaw topics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 37years of experience as an associate attorney.Preference for experience focused on construction law and/or forcandidates with nonlegal construction industry experience.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in ColoradoCalifornia Arizona or Oregon.
  • Knowledgeof various project delivery methods and construction contracts including industrystandard forms (such as AIA DBIA and ConsensusDocs) for traditionaldesignbidbuild CM agent CMAR designbuild EPC integrated projectdelivery and PPP.
  • Workingknowledge of and interest in the construction industry and relevant legal topics.
  • Excellentwriting skills attention to detail and strong academic credentials are required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base salary of $190k $230k based on experience
