Relevant work experience excellentacademic credentials and strong interpersonal skills are required.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
- Reviewdraft and negotiate a variety of industry specific contracts on behalf of ourclients.
- Developstrategies for achieving client goals on construction projects.
- Supportproject teams and help resolve project issues during preconstruction andconstruction phases of projects.
- Providedaytoday advice to and communicate regularly with clients regarding projectmatters.
- Performlegal research and draft client guidance regarding a variety of constructionlaw topics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 37years of experience as an associate attorney.Preference for experience focused on construction law and/or forcandidates with nonlegal construction industry experience.
- Must be admitted to practice law in ColoradoCalifornia Arizona or Oregon.
- Knowledgeof various project delivery methods and construction contracts including industrystandard forms (such as AIA DBIA and ConsensusDocs) for traditionaldesignbidbuild CM agent CMAR designbuild EPC integrated projectdelivery and PPP.
- Workingknowledge of and interest in the construction industry and relevant legal topics.
- Excellentwriting skills attention to detail and strong academic credentials are required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base salary of $190k $230k based on experience
