About the Cara Collectives Employment Services team Team
We are a fast moving and passionate team with two main focuses: 1 managing and growing relationships with Chicagoland employers helping them fill high need entry to mid level roles while keeping them excited about partnering with Cara. 2 working with our job seekers to help them secure meaningful employment.
About the Role
A Corporate Account Specialist is responsible for placing participants into quality permanent jobs by identifying developing and managing a participant pipeline while collaborating and maintaining relationships with established Cara Collective employment partners.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be inspired by Cara Collectives mission and committed to working in an environment dedicated to racial equity and breaking the cycle of poverty. They should be a selfstarter energized by fostering strong partnerships highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and committed to continuous learning. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills a strong desire to collaborate as a team player and approach challenges with a solutionsoriented mindset. They should excel in interacting with participants and employer partners demonstrating problemsolving skills to support successful employment placements.
While prior experience in a social justice organization or with workforce development is not required it is considered a plus.
Requirements:
- 23 years of experience in account management workforce development or a related field.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Ability to maintain and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive approach and initiativetaking with a commitment to operational excellence.

The Responsibilities of the Position
Account Management 45
- Manage a portfolio of employer accounts across multiple sectors to build strong partnerships and create scalable talent pipelines.
- Responsible for matching job opportunities with best available talent via a highly personal and individualized candidate recommendation to the Cara Collective Employment Partner.
- Consistent follow up and ongoing communication with Cara Collective Employment Partners
- Conduct and host site visits both virtually and in person.
- Play a vital role on the Employment Services Team in securing quality permanent job placements for Cara Collective enterprise participants.
Participant Support 45
- Source pitch and screen participants for roles at Cara Collective Employment Partners.
- Coach and guide participants to review job requirements and other employer expectations to determine best fit roles.
- Advise and support participants regarding all aspects of the application process interview preparation and offer/acceptance phase of job search.
Miscellaneous 10
- Complete accurate and timely data entry into Salesforce.
- Uphold Cara Collectives mission and values and serve as a voice and champion for Cara Collectives Inclusive Employment work.
- Collaborate with Coaching Training Recruitment/Admissions and the Employment Services teams to drive results for participants across the enterprise.

Starting Pay Range
We take budget and starting salary very seriously. We market our roles and are using a salary analysis tool called Payscale and offer competitive marketbased compensation to all employees.
