Job Description

Join the finance team that drives success by managing accounts payable bookkeeping budgeting forecasting and cash management. They ensure compliance through regulatory reporting and audits while maintaining financial integrity and shaping Makos strategic financial future.

The Global Head of Tax will oversee and manage the companys tax strategy compliance and planning across multiple jurisdictions including the US UK Netherlands Australia Ireland and Singapore. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in international tax laws and regulations capable of leading a global team and ensuring the companys tax practices align with its overall business objectives.

What youll be involved in:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive tax strategies that optimise the companys tax position while ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with tax regulations in the US UK Netherlands Australia Ireland and Singapore.
  • Identifying and mitigate tax risks ensuring the company is protected from potential tax liabilities.
  • Leading and mentoring a global team of tax professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
  • Providing expert tax advice to senior management and other departments supporting business decisions and initiatives.
  • Preparing and presenting regular tax reports to the CEO and other stakeholders highlighting key issues and opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with tax authorities external advisors and other stakeholders.

What we need from you:

  • Specific US Tax experience including US owned partnerships K1s 1256 income
  • Extensive experience in tax management with significant experience in international tax across the specified jurisdictions. Strong accounting background is essential with experience in tax provisioning.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent communication and leadership abilities and proficiency in tax software and tools.
  • Indepth understanding of tax laws and regulations in the US UK Netherlands Australia Ireland and Singapore. Expertise in antihybrid rules transfer pricing structuring and tax considerations for USowned groups.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to tax planning and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; Masters degree or professional tax qualification (e.g. CPA CTA) preferred.
