Accountant
Location: Broken Arrow OK

Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree preferred minimum of 12 hours of collegelevel accounting courses 18 hours preferred)
Desired Skills
- Positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Strong focus on details to produce accurate and complete work
- At least intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Interest in maximizing efficiency through technology resources
- Basic understanding of financial statements preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Responsibilities
- Learn and manage the general ledger system including making entries completing reconciliations and performing research as needed
- Prepare financial and other reports for management and the Board of Directors
- Develop expertise in core banking applications to assist staff with questions and issue resolution
- Utilize report writing software (Cognos) to extract and format data from general ledger and core banking systems
- Record and reconcile fixed assets and manage accounts payable processes
- Reconcile prepaid assets and record investment transactions
- Gather and review balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by others
- Prepare data for interest rate risk analysis and regulatory financial reports
- Collect and organize data for tax returns auditors and examiners
